Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative that has been energizing our communities since 1939. SVEC distributes power to 35,000 members in and around Marion, Sequatchie, Grundy and Bledsoe counties. We have offices in Tracy City, Dunlap, Pikeville and we are headquartered in South Pittsburg.
Distributing and maintaining power in our service area is only one part of SVEC's mission. We are also committed to economic development, supporting community events, activities and causes and educating our youth.

Member Service Specialist Overview
We are looking for an energetic team member who will support the cooperative's mission and demonstrate cooperative values.
Position Objectives: Major responsibilities include actively promoting the Cooperative’s programs, services and community events across all districts and strategically building positive relationships internally and with members. Duties include managing the Heat Pump Financing Program and TVA Energy Right/eScore Programs; assisting with member/employee communications; communicating energy information to both residential and business members.
Minimum Job Specifications:
Education: Associate's degree in business or communications related major required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Two years in a customer service and/or communications role.
Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; knowledge of Microsoft Office and publishing, graphic design software and social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
The successful candidate must reside in the SVEC service area or be willing to relocate to the SVEC area.
