Survey teaches
members how
to lower their
electric bills
SVEC member-owners can now find out how to lower their electric bills each month. Along with
TVA, SVEC is pleased to sponsor a brand-new program designed to educate participants about the energy saving opportunities that exist in their
homes.
How does the program work?
As part of the energy right Home
e-Valuation program, members complete a short, multiple-choice questionnaire about their homes. A phone number is provided for assistance, if
needed. The survey booklet is a self-mailer, and once completed, can be sealed and dropped in the mail. Postage is paid for convenience.
A personalized report is then
sent to the participants in two to three weeks. It is based on their account information, the local utility rates and fuel prices, and of course, the information provided in the questionnaire. The report
shows them a graph of how much energy is consumed where, and suggests low-cost and no-cost ways in which they can save energy and money in their home.
How do I participate?
Members can simply click
here to complete an on-line survey. Members can also call or stop by any of the SVEC
service centers or e-mail us to request a
survey.
