Each household and business that receives power from SVEC is not only a customer but a member and part owner of the utility. The annual meeting is a report to the owners. It is your chance to meet your board of directors, learn how we did the past year and hear our plan for the future.
The SVEC annual meeting is held the second Thursday in August; the location rotates between Marion, Grundy, Sequatchie and Bledsoe counties.
The 2017 Annual Meeting of SVEC will be held Thursday, August 10, at Bledsoe County High School, 877 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and we will be serving a light dinner, giving out gifts and have exhibits and information booths. The business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Door prizes will follow the business meeting, you must be present to win.
