Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative employs nearly 80 team members across our service area in southeast Tennessee, that includes most of the counties of Marion, Sequatchie, Bledsoe and Grundy and some of surrounding counties. We power over 37,000 meters, maintain over 3,100 miles of power lines and since we also live here, we have a vested interest in our communities.

About SVEC
Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) is a member-owned distribution cooperative that delivers power generated by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Located in a growing area, SVEC currently serves 37,000 meters, primarily in four counties in southeast Tennessee: Marion, Sequatchie, Grundy and Bledsoe. SVEC owns SV Services which includes two subsidiaries: SVEConnect, a fiber-to-the-premises business and SV Propane. SVEC is a member of the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association and is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative.
SVEC is headquartered in South Pittsburg, Tennessee on the banks of the Tennessee River in the Sequatchie Valley, part of the Appalachian Mountains. SVEC district offices are located in Tracy City, Dunlap and Pikeville.
With the Tennessee River, many creeks and lakes near-by, and surrounding mountains, the area offers a bounty of activities including boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, bird watching and rock climbing. The SVEC area is home to several state parks and festivals including the National Cornbread Festival. While living in a quiet, scenic area, SVEC is convenient to major cities including Chattanooga (30 miles), Nashville (100 miles), Knoxville (120 miles) and Atlanta (140 miles).
