The Pre-Paid Metering (PPM) electric service option helps you avoid security deposits and late fees. You can purchase electricity at times that meet the needs of your household budget.
Budget Billing: Balance your monthly energy payments
If you want your energy statement charges to be the same amount each month, or want to budget for energy costs and stay within range all year, check out Budget Billing. This plan evens your monthly payments to avoid big spikes on your energy statements, even when your energy usage changes from one season to another.
- Pay the same amount every month
- Settle-up once a year by paying the shortage or receiving a credit.
- Account must be active for 12 months before signing up for Budget Bill.

Please use caution when paying your electric bill with a bill payment service such as Doxo. These services often charge for bill payment and can send your payment late. To make a payment to your SVEC account, it is best to use one of the payment options listed below. SVEC does not charge a fee for payments, including no fee for credit/debit payments.
Payments can be made by check, credit or debit card, or cash if paying in-person. Credit/debit cards accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Online
Securely pay your bill online with no fee. We offer automatic payments and one-time payments.
Autopay
Your payment is automatically paid on the due date each month, or the next business day, using your checking or savings account or your debit/credit card.
Financial Institutions
Some local banks in the SVEC area will accept electric payments, but please note, banks cannot accept late payments.
Only these local banks accept electric payments: Tower Community Bank, First Volunteer Bank, Citizens Tri-County Bank and Mountain Valley Bank (Tracy City location only)
Pay by Phone
Call any local SVEC office or the 24/7 line to make a payment by phone.
SVEC Office
Pay in person at any of the SVEC offices by going inside, using the drive-thru or using the drop-box, available at the drive-thru at each office.
