Tennessee Tree Day is a statewide tradition that brings families and communities together each year to help grow our native tree population. Through a long-standing partnership with the Tennessee Division of Forestry and several regional nurseries, thousands of bare-root native seedlings are made available to Tennesseans. With the support of volunteers and local businesses that help distribute these trees, residents across the state can participate in this conservation effort. Since the program started in 2007, more than 100,000 people have taken part, resulting in the planting of over one million native trees. We hope you will join us.

The group will provide native tree seedlings for a small donation, while supplies last, to any Tennessee resident who preregisters to reserve bundles of bare-root seedlings. The trees will be yours to plant on your own property. Visit: www.tectn.org/tennesseetreeday to register for trees and for more details.

Complete details of the program, including the variety of trees available (which varies by region), can be found on the TEC Website.
