BEWARE of third-party bill payment websites and apps that appear to be affiliated with Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, such as Doxo.com. Websites like Doxo.com allow consumers to pay a variety of bills, including their SVEC electric bill, through their site, but charge a fee for the service. While third-party bill payment websites are legal, they can be misleading. Doxo.com is NOT affiliated with SVEC and they are NOT authorized to use our logo or name, nor are they an official payment site for SVEC.
If using the Doxo.com site, be aware member payments may arrive late, resulting in late payment fee or even disconnection due to non-payment procedures.
The fastest, most economical way to make a payment on your SVEC account is to go directly to the SVEC website at www.svalleyec.com and choose the “Make a Payment” option at the top of the home page.
Payments can also be made using the SVEC App, available for iPhone and Android. The SVEC app allows for quick, instantaneous application of payment. Auto-pay is a convenient option for members who do not want the worry of remembering to make a payment each month. Auto-pay uses a linked credit/debit card or bank account and credits your electric account each month on the due date. Other payment options include visiting your local SVEC office, paying at a participating local bank (no late payments taken at banks), and using the night drop at local offices. SVEC does NOT charge a fee when making a payment, no matter which method is chosen.
